2007 PLAYER OF THE YEAR: DE -- Hilee Taylor -- Taylor was one of the big-play guys in an improved defensive unit. He registered 10.5 sacks, fourth highest in Carolina history, and 16 tackles for loss. He also forced three fumbles. Taylor, DT Kentwan Balmer and LB Durell Mapp formed the senior leadership that Davis said held the team together through the close losses. |
