Walter J. Klein's credentials begin with his professional writing for publication since 1937, when he was 14, the year the Shrine Bowl originated.
His previous books include The Sponsored Film about his industry and The Unwanted about human weeds.  He has written countless articles for public and professional journals on subjects ranging from film production to Biblical gardens.  He also authors 15 motion picture scenarios each year.
When the Shrine Bowl officials asked him to write  Bowl Full of Miracles, he was delighted to accept the honor and would not accept pay.  For he had been working for the Shrine Bowl since 1956, two years before he became a Mason and a Shriner, writing and producing Shrine films--also without charge.
In those 30years Klein served the Shrine Bowl as its public relations director, audio-visual director, and program editor.
He is a life member of Oasis Temple, a Jester, recipient of the Walt Disney award, member of the Scottish Rite and Excelsior Lodge Number 261.  He is especially proud of having two blue lodge past members as executives in his business--David Jordan of Phalanx and his son Richard Klein of Excelsior.
